Nine-step cleaning method

For our general carpet upholstery cleaning service, Mr Gleam uses a special, nine-stage cleaning method, as follows: 

• inspection
• industrial-strength hoovering to remove surface dry dirt
• pre-spray, to bring harder-to-reach dirt to the surface
• stain removal
• agitation
• absorption
• hot water extraction method with cleaning agents
• deodorisers to remove odours
• turbo dryers where appropriate

Odour Removal

Your carpets and upholstery may look clean but it may still have a bad odour, from pets, tobacco smoke or food. You could mask smells with products, but unless the source of the odour is removed, the smell will come back.

Mr Gleam will permanently remove odours, leaving your premises smelling fresh and clean by breaking down odour-producing soils deep below the surface of your carpet or upholstery.

Most odours can be removed easily and quickly but there are some which require instant treatment. If some odorous materials are not blotted up immediately after spillage, they evaporate and dry, which then concentrates the smell.

Protection

Carpets and upholstered furniture can be precious and it is wise to protect them from wear and tear.
