Environmental Sustainability

As a cleaning company, we have to consider our environmental sustainability because out of necessity we use chemical cleaning products and like any company, we produce waste.

We consider the environment on every job we do however, by using waste-saving cleaning techniques and sustainable products wherever possible.

Waste water

For example, we produce 100% pure water for our ‘reach and wash’ window cleaning system at our warehouses. Pure water is essential for the best finish.

To produce pure water, we use the most environmentally-friendly method available: a ‘reverse osmosis’ system of 1:1 waste to water. Many water purification systems use a ratio of 1:4.

Recycling

We recycle all paper, card and plastic across our offices and sites and adhere strictly to environmental recycling and disposal legislation.

Staff participation

The Mr Gleam team are made aware of any industry changes which impact the environment and all team members are given a copy of our environmental policy and are expected to put it into practice.
