Stripping and sealing

To clean and maintain hard flooring and hardwood flooring to the highest standard, Mr Gleam has a special floor cleaning system.

One method we use is called ‘stripping and sealing’. We use specialist hard floor cleaners and equipment to strip the top of the floor before sealing it and adding a minimum of 4 coats of polish.

The floor is then be buffed to a high gloss polished finish. To maintain the highly polished look it is recommended that the floor should be regularly buffed to reduce the need for expensive maintenance.

Maintenance

All types of hard flooring will begin to show signs of ageing and wear and tear. For that reason Mr Gleam provides a flooring maintenance service.

After time, dirt can become lodged deep within the surface of the flooring which can be very difficult to remove. But by regularly cleaning your flooring, no matter which type it is, you can arrest the build up of dirt before it becomes stubborn to remove.
