Brighton, 10 April 2011: Mr Gleam’s Company Manager Joseph Mason has raised more than £300.00 for the Teenage Cancer Trust, by running the Brighton Marathon.
The charity raises money for adolescent victims of all forms of cancer across the UK, which goes towards the cost of building specialist teen Cancer wards.
Joseph took part in the 26-mile Brighton Marathon to raise funds for the cause which started at Preston Park and ended at Madeira Drive.
He ran the race in 4 hours 23 minutes.
Joseph says: “I’m pleased to raise funds for such a worthy cause. Having the Mr Gleam team rooting for me really helped!”
The whole Mr Gleam team came to the marathon to cheer Joseph on and volunteered their time to help on the charity’s stall at the event.
Joe did not run the race in fancy dress, despite requests from his colleagues.
