Brighton & Sussex Office Cleaning

PDF Print E-mail

At Mr Gleam we believe that there are too many stresses within the office and organising the cleaning should not be one of them.  Many companies change cleaners two or three times a year as they are unhappy with the office cleaning services,  their prices or in some cases both.  We are strong believers of getting it right first time and maintaining the highest possible standards without charging a premium.

We are so confident of the high quality of our work that if you are not 100% satisfied with the results we will come back and re-do the job completely free of charge.

Your office will be surveyed by an experienced manager who can give you a realistic time frame and cost to have the work completed. We aim to beat any quote you already have and improve on your current quality of service.

Our specialist cleaning teams will not only attend to the daily cleaning of the office and toilets but if required can also offer the following services

  • Office Carpet Cleaning
  • Window Cleaning (including  harness work)
  • Entrance Mat cleaning
  • Deep Cleaning
  • Anti-Static treatment

Quality Control

Each contract we service is incredibly important to us and to make sure that we maintain our standards we constantly assess the performance of each of our cleaning teams.  Our cleaning managers periodically check the performance of each cleaner to ensure that we have the best possible staff in the industry.

Each workplace we service is assessed on a fortnightly basis and a copy of this assessment is available to our clients to ensure they are aware of any minor issues which may have arisen or any changes which are needed to the cleaning rota. Any changes which we feel would benefit you or save you money will be discussed and agreed prior to being implemented.

Health & Safety

To ensure the safety of all our employees and also your own, we follow a very strict Health & Safety policy. All work carried out will also be subjected to

  • COSHH Assessments on any chemicals used
  • Full Risk Assessment
  • Full Method Statement
  • All staff are fully insured and have been subjected to full CRB checks.

Anti Static

Static electricity is common in everyday life and is generated simply by walking around. For most environments it does not cause any major problems, but in offices it can have catastrophic effects.
The voltage in static electricity is surprisingly higher than people expect and can cause severe problems to computers and all electrical equipment. If you can feel the shock it is most likely over 4,000 Volts, although it is not abnormal for people to carry around 25,000 Volts of electricity. It is only due to its low current that the effects are not deadly.

Static electricity varies according to different weather conditions but is most noticeable in very dry atmospheres, especially those using central heating and/or air conditioning. Static also increases around electrical items such as computers and photocopiers, and therefore the office is the prime environment for static to be produced.

Static electricity is created when two materials touch, then move apart or rub. Electrons are exchanged; one material becomes positively charged, and the other negatively.  When two materials of the same charge touch, the electricity flows, causing a shock.

Each time a device is plugged into a PC the static electricity can be transferred from the device directly into the PC. All electrical devices will do this including mice, keyboards, iPods, data sticks, speakers, network cables etc. The transfer of the shock to the computer can cause the system to crash and cause damage to the equipment and in many cases causes loss of data.

We can treat your office for static using specialist sprays that drain the static charge and make static a thing of the past.
